Over the past two weeks, merchant bar prices in Turkey have increased by TRY 35-50/mt in the local currency, with minor changes on US dollar basis. Some re-rollers are offering material from stock, while others are offeing material for late November-early December delivery.
Sources report that most buyers prefer to wait until the Turkish Central Bank’s decision on interest rates tomorrow and are purchasing only in line with their daily needs.
