SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish merchant bar producers have lowered their domestic prices due to slowing demand and the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. Accordingly, angle prices of Turkish mills have decreased by TRY 50/mt on the lower end and by TRY 30/mt on the upper end as compared to Monday, August 5, to TRY 2,650-2,890/mt ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT.
