Due to lower import scrap quotations recorded in Turkey, local Turkish merchant bar prices have also moved down. Also, SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish merchant bar producers have decreased their angle prices by an average of TRY 60/mt as compared to Tuesday, August 27, to TRY 2,640-2,850/mt ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT.
