Local and import rebar prices in Israel

According to market sources, local steelmakers' rebar offers in the Israeli domestic market are being quoted at $645-650/mt ex-works, excluding 16 percent VAT. Meanwhile, Turkish rebar offers to Israel can now be found at $600-610/mt CFR, softening by $5/mt over the same period, while market insiders state that demand for these offers is at moderate levels.
