It is observed that domestic rebar prices in Iran have increased by an average of $5/mt over the past week amid the depreciation of the Iranian riyal against the US dollar as well as the rises seen in domestic billet quotations. As a result, domestic rebar prices in Iran have reached to $545-580/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT. But, market sources state that the current demand is not enough to support the upward movement of prices.
