According to market sources, prices in the local Bulgarian rebar market are currently at BGN 850/mt ($475/mt) delivered to customer, for July production. With most European buyers on holiday, demand is quite weak in the market and Bulgarian traders believe that under these circumstances a decline of around BGN 20/mt ($11/mt) in prices will be seen in the short term.

While not so many rebar offers have been heard from foreign suppliers to Bulgaria, Chinese rebar offers to the country are standing at $395/mt CFR for September delivery.
