Kyoei Steel keeping rebar prices stable into June

Following the announcement by Tokyo Steel that prices would remain stable into June, Kyoei Steel has also announced that it is maintaining its current price level next month. Kyoei Steel is the country’s largest rebar producer and is based in the Osaka area on the western side of Japan. Prices are reportedly around JPY 67,500-68,500/mt ($618-627/mt) ex-mill in the corresponding region.

Prices in the Tokyo area and eastern part of the country are reportedly higher by JPY 2,000-5,000/mt ($18-46/mt).
