SteelOrbis has been informed that an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has opened its wire rod sales at $900/mt ex-works today, May 9. The supplier had closed its wire rod sales on Friday April 22, having offered its official wire rod price at $950/mt ex-works on Thursday, April 21. The main reasons for the decrease are the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment and currency fluctuations.
