SteelOrbis has been informed that an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has kept its official mesh grade wire rod price stable at $770/mt ex-works today, March 24. In addition, the mill has also issued its rebar price at TRY 16,850/mt($748/mt) ex-works, falling by TRY 150/mt(10$/mt) compared to Monday, March 20. The main reasons are the currency fluctuations, the negative sentiment in the import billet segment, and sluggish demand.
