SteelOrbis has been informed that one Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has cut its official wire rod prices by $70/mt to $950/mt ex-works today, April 14. The mill had announced its wire rod price at $1,020/mt ex-works yesterday. The main reasons for the price cut are the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment and sluggish demand.
