India’s domestic billet prices trend down after upward attempt

On April 29, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic induction grade billet offer prices at INR 31,600-31,800/mt ($453-456/mt) ex-Raipur.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offer prices sought to climb by INR 200/mt the first four days in May but that prices are now reportedly at INR 31,400-31,600/mt ($448-451/mt). Prices decreased $5/mt from both the top and bottom of the previous range.
