India’s domestic billet prices tick down, but slightly up in dollar terms

On May 13, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic induction grade billet offer prices at INR 31,000-31,200/mt ($439-442/mt) ex-Raipur.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offer prices have slipped further in the week and are now reportedly at INR 30,800-31,100/mt ($439-443/mt) ex-Raipur. Despite the slight downward movement in domestic prices, prices remained relatively stable in dollar terms due to currency fluctuations. The range increased by $1/mt compared to the top of the previous range.
