Indian domestic billet prices tick down

On December 7, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic billet offers were trending up to INR 31,500-31,800/mt ($446-451/mt) ex-works Raipur (central east India).

Sources report that over the next few days offer prices for Indian domestic billet increased to a “firm INR 32,000/mt” level but today, December 10, Indian domestic billet offers have decreased to INR 31,200-31,500/mt ($430-434/mt). Prices decreased $16/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $17/mt from the top of the same range.
