SteelOrbis has learned that import offers for mesh-quality
wire rod to the
US from Turkey have dropped in the last week by about $10/mt into the range of $490-$500/mt CFR FO in
US Gulf Coast ports. However, sources note that prices could change soon, after alleged dumping margins were announced late Tuesday in the AD/CVD case against
wire rod imports from 10 countries.
