According to reports in the market, last week a deal for 50,000 mt of rebar from Qatar was done in Singapore at $448-450/mt CFR on theoretical weight basis. The shipment period has not been confirmed by the time of publication. This price level is in line with offers heard last week, but is much higher compared to the deal made in the second half of November for ex-Ukraine rebar at $425/mt CFR.

Offer prices for Hong Kong are still heard at $455/mt CFR on actual weight basis.
