Hadeed, the key Saudi Arabian producer, has recently announced its offers of wire rod to Emirati customers.
Accordingly, Hadeed is offering its 6.5 mm wire rod for November shipment to the UAE’s market at $579/mt CPT Abu Dhabi, adding $5/mt to its 5.5 mm wire rod. The company’s medium carbon 5.5 mm wire rod is available at $594/mt CPT Abu Dhabi.
In the meantime, Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) has recently re-entered its domestic market with updated offers for November production wire rod at $540/mt ex-works, while another UAE supplier United Steel Company based in Fujairah is offering its material at $535/mt CPT.
