Greece’s rebar export prices have remained stable over the past week and are still in the range of €520-530/mt ($593-604/mt) FOB. Since Turkey is unable to conclude sales to the European Union countries due to the already filled import quotas for Turkish rebar, Greek rebar producers have kept their prices unchanged despite falling scrap quotations. On the other hand, while demand for Greek rebar in the international markets currently lacks strength, if it recovers Greek mills may increase their rebar export offers.
