It is observed that demand for Greek rebar in the international market has remained at low levels over the past week. Greek rebar producers have increased their export prices by an average of €10/mt week on week to €510-520/mt ($581-593/mt) FOB due to higher scrap and billet quotations. Market sources report that Greek rebar export prices are still considered to be on the high side and that demand for Greek rebar is not expected to revive in the short term.
