Greek rebar mills start to offer rebar to the US

SteelOrbis has been informed that Greek mills rebar export prices have remained stable over the past week at €500-501/mt ($585-597/mt) FOB. Market sources report that Greek rebar producers have offered rebar to central Europe and the Balkans for delivery by truck, while their offers to the US are currently closer to the high end of the price range in question. Additionally, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Bulgaria have also started to offer rebar to the US, market sources report, at levels very close to Greek mills’ prices.
