During the past week, demand for Greek rebar in the international markets has remained at low levels. In the given week no new Greek rebar export sale has been heard, while rebar export offers from Greece have remained stable week on week at €500-510/mt ($570-581/mt) FOB. On the other hand, SteelOrbis has been informed that Greek rebar producers do not expect any decline in scrap quotations which are still on the high side. As a result, despite the weakness of demand, Greek rebar export offers are not expected to decrease in the short term.
