According to market sources, demand for Turkish wire rod in export markets is still slack. Amid lack of support of concluding delas to European market over past two weeks and due to the softening of import billet and import scrap prices, Turkish wire rod producers have decreased their prices week on week. As a result, ex-Turkey wire rod prices have decreased by $10/mt week on week to $560-570/mt FOB.
