Turkish merchant bar export prices for equal angles have been reduced by an average of $20/mt to $655-685/mt FOB over the past week, due to weaker scrap prices and sluggish demand. Most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers are mainly offering for April shipments, while a few re-rollers are offering either for extended delivery terms or limited tonnages for end-of-March shipment.

Most international buyers are taking their time to evaluate offers in order to gain a better understanding of the import scrap and billet segments.

Turkish merchant bar export prices are currently at the following levels:

Product

Price ($/mt)

Angle

655-685

IPN-UPN

665-695

Flat bar

685-715

IPE

665-695

All prices are on FOB basis and April shipment.
