Ex-India billet offers to Nepal down but strengthening

On October 9, SteelOrbis reported that ex-India induction grade billet offers to Nepal were trending down at $490-500/mt CFR Nepal.

According to information received by SteelOrbis, ex-India billet offer prices to Nepal continue to trend at $490-500/mt CFR Nepal. A source noted that over the past week offers have become firmer on positive expectations for the next few months. Although, demand in Nepal is weak on seasonal factors while domestic billet prices in India have softened over the week.

Following the same trends, ex-India commercial grade wire rod prices are presently reportedly at $570/mt CFR.
