CIS-based suppliers' billet export prices have fallen by $10/mt on the lower end week on week and are currently at $370-390/mt FOB.

Meanwhile, ex-CIS billet offers to Turkey have also declined, falling by an average of $5/mt during the past week to $390-410/mt CFR. On the other hand, Turkish buyers' firm bids for ex-CIS billet are now mostly at $380-385/mt CFR following the declines recorded in ex-CIS billet quotations.

Additionally, CIS-based suppliers' billet offers to Egypt, another important export market for ex-CIS billet, have moved down by an average of $5/mt week on week to $395-400/mt CFR. However, market sources state that Egyptian buyers are still purchasing billet from the CIS region only in line with their needs.
