SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that ex-CIS export offers for billet to North Africa are currently standing at $630-640/mt CFR. However in the Moroccan market, North Africa's main billet consumer, billet offers from the CIS have not attracted much interest as the demand level in the country is low. On the other hand, market players indicate that in order to gain acceptance in the market offer levels should be around $625/mt CFR.
