Downward pressure increases on Turkish rebar export offers

SteelOrbis has heard from market sources that Turkish mills are currently offering rebar to the export markets at price levels of $580-590/mt FOB. However, under the influence of recent scrap deals, it seems downward pressure on export offers will grow.

On the other hand, even though Turkish steel mills have been trying hard to push up offers at the higher end of the range or at least keep them at around $585/mt FOB, they seem willing to accept prices around the lower end of the range for high volume purchases.
