SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $470/mt ex-works in Izmir, while offers from the same producer for 20 MnB4 grade wire rod is at $575/mt ex-works in Izmir, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payments. The offers in question are $30/mt lower than the producer’s previous list prices announced on August 21.
