Having made an upward start to the current week, domestic rebar prices in Turkey have continued to move up in the following days. In additon to the tight supply problem experienced in the market at the beginning of the current week, the sharp rise in import scrap quotations in Turkey has also been reflected indomestic rebar prices, while market sources state that buyers have not yet accepted the current price levels, believing the increases to be artificial. Accordingly, buyers in the local Turkish rebar market are still concluding purchases only in line with their needs.
