During the past week, Iranian producers have increased their domestic rebar prices by $10/mt with the influence of the price rises seen in their local billet market. Accordingly, Iranian mills’ domestic rebar quotations have reached $485-490/mt ex-works, including nine percent VAT, while market sources think that rebar prices may increase further in the coming days due to declining domestic billet supply.
