Market sources state that domestic rebar demand in Egypt, which weakened at the end of March, has remained at low levels during the past week. Despite the weakness of demand, Egyptian rebar producers have not changed their domestic prices in the past week week amid higher raw material costs and have kept them at EGP 12,525-12,996/mt ($708-735/mt) ex-works.
