In parallel with the acceleration of construction projects in Turkey, buyers in the local Turkish wire rod market have stepped up their purchases over the past week. Against the backdrop of increases seen in billet and rebar prices in Turkey amid increased trading activity and tight supply, domestic wire rod quotations have mostly moved up slightly during the past week, except in the Istanbul region where quotations have remained stable.
