Demand for Greek rebar exports at low levels due to approaching new year

SteelOrbis has been informed that international buyers of Greek rebar are unwilling to keep inventories in hand due to the approaching Christmas and the New Year holidays, and so they are not concluding new deals. On the other hand, some Greek rebar producers have started maintenance works, market sources report. Under the current circumstance no new Greek rebar export offer has been heard over the past week, while the latest price offers were in the range of €500-510/mt ($570-581/mt) FOB.
