SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that ex-CIS rebar offers are currently standing at $600/mt FOB. In the meantime, both the CIS domestic market and the major export markets of the CIS are looking forward to seeing the new price announcement of Belarusian steel producer Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ), which is expected next week.

In the CIS rebar export markets, where stagnancy still reigns, prices are foreseen to soften further next week. Nevertheless, it is stated that market prices will gain clarity once producers announce their new prices.
