The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on buyers and order sizes.

It is observed that demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has remained at low levels over the past week. Having benefited from lower import scrap quotations, Turkish wire rod exporters have reduced their domestic prices due to the weakness of demand. On the other hand, buyers are maintaining their wait-and-see stance as they do not wish to carry high inventories over the next year. Additionally, SteelOrbis has been informed that discounts can be provided for deals for large tonnages.
