Buyers in local Egyptian rebar market still purchasing only in line with needs

It is observed that demand in the local Egyptian rebar market has remained at low levels in the past seven days. Market sources state that buyers in the local Egyptian rebar market consider current price levels to be on the high side and so are concluding purchases only in line with their needs. Meanwhile, Egyptian rebar producers have kept their domestic offers stable week on week at EGP 11,800-12,200/mt ($658-680/mt) ex-works, including fourteen percent VAT.
