Brazilian rebar exports remain negotiated in a range of $630/mt to $650/mt, FOB conditions, unchanged from last week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

The source mentioned that the price is already in line with international prices, chiefly exports to other South American countries and to the Caribbean, which are the main destinations of Brazilian rebar exports.

In July, Gerdau exported 30,500 mt of rebar at $471/mt, while the Votorantim group exported 5,100 mt at $512/mt, both FOB conditions.
