Brazilian rebar export offers to South American countries remain unchanged

The reference price for Brazilian rebar exports is still $860/mt, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, for sales to South American countries, stable from two weeks ago.

In October, Brazil exported 33,600 mt of rebar, in average at $762/mt, while importing 25,300 mt of the product from Turkey at $776/mt, FOB conditions.

In the Brazilian domestic market, rebar is offered by producers in medium to large volumes at BRL 6,200/mt ($1,111/mt), against BRL 6,121/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI, for the supply in the country’s southeast and south regions.
