The reference price for the export of rebar by Brazilian producers remains at $770/mt, stable over the last two weeks, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, for sales to South American countries.
A scenario of more material available for exports remains, derived from increased domestic production, with prices now more in line with international prices of the product.
In the Brazilian domestic market, rebar is offered by producers in medium to large volumes at BRL 6,425/mt ($1,229/mt), against BRL 6,517/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI, for the supply in the country’s southeast and south regions.
