SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have moved down by NTD 200-300/mt ($7-10/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 15,500-15,600/mt ($516-520/mt) ex-works, for early and mid-June shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have indicated a decrease of NTD 200-500/mt ($7-17/mt) this week, are currently at the following levels:
