Billet and rebar prices soften in Taiwan - week 43

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have decreased by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 15,000-15,200/mt ($514-521/mt) ex-works, for end of October and early November shipments.

In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have moved down by NTD 300-800/mt ($10-24/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:
