SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 mm have declined by 300 NTD/mt ($10/mt) over the past week to NTD 10,500-10,900/mt ($340-353/mt) ex-works, for late August shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 200-300/mt ($6-10/mt) in the same period and are now at the following levels:
