SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have declined by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt) since last week to NTD 14,700-14,900/mt ($493-499/mt) ex-works, for early and mid-July shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have indicated a decrease of NTD 100-300/mt ($3-10/mt) this week, are currently at the following levels:
