SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 mm have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 9,000-9,400/mt ($276-288/mt) ex-works, for shipments in mid-May.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have increased by NTD 400/mt ($12/mt) since last week, are now at the following levels:
