Billet and rebar prices in Taiwan - week 40

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have increased by NTD 200-600/mt ($7-20/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 16,200-16,800/mt ($553-573/mt) ex-works, for early and mid-October shipments.
 
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have moved up by NTD 100/mt ($3/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:

The above prices include five percent VAT, are ex-warehouse and are also for early and mid-October shipments.
