Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market has been at low levels. However, due to recent increases recorded in raw material and flat steel quotations, Turkish CRC producers have further raised their prices by $30/mt week on week to $620-640/mt ex-works.

In the spot market, prices of domestic CRC sold by local traders have increased by $20/mt week on week and are at the following levels:

Price ($/mt)

0.6 mm CRC

0.7-2 mm CRC

The offers are on ex-warehouse basis, for February delivery, and exclude 18 percent VAT.
