This week, demand for Turkish flat steel in the export markets has remained weak. Turkish flat steel exporters' sales in their target markets have only been for small tonnages, while buyers have continued to postpone their purchases with the anticipation of a further decline in global flat steel offers. Turkish exporters' hot rolled coil (HRC) export prices have declined by $10/mt during the past week to $340-350/mt FOB. On the other hand, Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) export offers have also decreased by $10/mt in the same period, falling to $445-455/mt FOB. All prices are for October production.
