Over the past week, demand for import flat steel in Turkey has weakened, with buyers reducing their price inquiries. Turkish buyers have exerted pressure on both domestic and import flat steel prices and have postponed their bookings due to their expectation that prices will decrease in the coming period. According to market sources, in the short short term, buyers will continue to put pressure on prices and to adopt a cautious stance towards new bookings.

Under the current circumstances, ex-CIS hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to Turkey have remained stable week on week at $525-545/mt CFR. Meanwhile, ex-CIS cold rolled coil (CRC) offers to Turkey have remained unchanged week on week at $575-600/mt CFR.
