Prices for US import HDG coil have shifted slightly week-over-week, but sources close to SteelOrbis have indicated that offshore interest for 0.012”x40.875” G30 HDG coil remains strong, despite near-level domestic offer prices.
“Sure, the domestics are making this now, but that’s not to say domestic supply is going to be stable,” a source said. “The concern is that the domestics will delay delivery times or at some point, stop making it again, so buyers need the offshore pipeline.”
