The sideways trend within Gr80/AZ55 Galvalume coil markets continues to persist this week, but while pricing is steady week-on-week, year-over-year pricing has dropped significantly. Last year’s high price points were directly attributed to the implementation of Section 232 tariffs. Now that concerns about supply disruptions have abated, and US mills are producing more steel, pricing has stabilized.
