The most commonly heard spot market price for US import 0.012”x40.875” G30 HDG coil from the UAE, Vietnam and Mexico are stable since our last report a week ago, after mills in all countries reduced their prices to match Brazilian offers.
Prices for US import 0.019x41.5625 Gr80/AZ55 from Vietnam and Mexico are also stable after undergoing a similar downward revision. Trader sources continue to indicate that buyers are reluctant to book significant tonnage from offshore mills due to the recent downtrend in US prices. Buyers are not expected to make large offshore commitments until domestic prices settle.
